Enhancing Sedation Safety in Children having Diagnostic & Therapeutic Procedures

This course aims to provide participants with the essential information, knowledge and skills to ensure a safe environment for procedural sedation in paediatrics. It highlights the minimum requirements of facility, patient assessment, monitoring, drugs and equipment for safe procedure sedation. The course takes the format of web-based lectures and pre-readings, small group problem-based discussions and hands-on medical simulation exercises.
