P.A.I.n.T (Paediatric Airway Intervention and Tracheostomy) Simulation Training
This course highlights the importance of inter-specialty collaboration and team work in handling paediatric critical airways. Experienced physicians, surgeons, anaesthesiologists and nurse specialists will demonstrate a variety of intubation techniques inclusive of the establishment of a surgical airway. They will also share their experience on anatomical appreciation and interventional techniques using flexible bronchoscopes and rigid ventilating bronchoscopes, with hands-on practice on manikins.
- Target participants: HA doctors and specialists in paediatric medicine, paediatric ENT, paediatric surgery and paediatric anaesthesiology, APNs or senior RNs involved in airway care
