With Hong Kong Disneyland's donation and creative input, HKCH produced a line of unique patient outfits which combine visual appeal, comfort and functionality to meet patients' special needs. The hidden Disney characters also give a homey feel and help to uplift children's healing experience.

Delightful entertainment

The specialist outpatient clinic recently added a Mobile Movie Theatre donated by The Walt Disney Company. Children and family members get to sit back and enjoy popular animations and movies from its built-in streaming platform while waiting for consultation.

▲Tse Miu-ling, Ward Manager, Specialist Outpatient Clinic says the theatre helps to keep patients occupied. For kids who are afraid of needles, staff would also use animation as reward to get them to cooperate.

For patients undergoing MRI scan at the Department of Radiology, they can put on special goggles to watch Disney movie discs. It is a good distraction and relieves their anxiety for a smooth examination.
