Integrated Paediatric Services

Introduction

The Integrated Paediatric Service (IPS) embodies the Hong Kong Children’s Hospital’s mission to provide children-centred and family-friendly holistic care. The service offers one-stop support for children with a range of common and multi-domain health concerns. Our team of paediatricians, nurses, and allied health professionals work closely together to deliver coordinated assessment and care in a compassionate, supportive environment.

Scope of Services

IPS provides a full range of paediatric care for common and multi-system conditions. The service does not take care of children primarily presenting with mental health conditions, suspected non-accidental injury or acute airborne infections requiring dedicated isolation facilities, who are best managed in hospitals with an Accident and Emergency Department and in-house psychiatric services.
