Washing hands with liquid soap and water

Steps of handwashing with liquid soap and water

First, wet hands under running water. Apply liquid soap and rub hands together to make a soapy lather.

Then, rub all parts of the hands (Palms, back of hands, fingers webs, back of fingers, thumbs, finger tips and wrists) thoroughly according to “Seven steps of hand hygiene”.

Rub hands with soapy lather for at least 20 seconds and rinse after cleaning the hands thoroughly.

Dry hands thoroughly with paper towel. Turn off the tap by using paper towel to wrap the faucet. Used paper towels should be discarded into rubbish bin with lid.
