The athletes competing in recent major sports events had everyone in town marveling at their prowess and reveling in their victories. To me, our patients are also champions in their own games.

Besides doctors and nurses, our children-centred allied health professionals are also indispensable. Like coaches and cheerleaders, they support child patients in every race and match during their treatment journey. Furthermore, we have rehab facilities specially designed to meet children’s clinical, development and psychological needs. All these enable us to provide children with rehab services of higher standard and better quality.

Medal count of the Olympic Games attracts the world’s attention, and our COVID-19 vaccination numbers also keep going up. As at early September, all HKCH doctors were vaccinated, while the overall staff vaccination rate was already over 96%. I am truly grateful for their effort to combat the pandemic.
