Let's plant together

People of all ages can enjoy and benefit from gardening. Doing it with your children is full of fun, and also a great way for them to acquire new skills and understand life.
Tending to plants can help children develop their sense of responsibility. When children own a plant, they can experience the cycle of life firsthand and learn about science, weather, the environment and nutrition. It is also good for family bonding as parents can share their life values during the process.
Watching plants grow is satisfying and promotes children's self-confidence. You can stimulate their creativity by using the harvest in different ways like making tea, cooking and pressed flowers DIY.

▲Upcycling idea: when you prune your houseplants, keep some foliage and put in a used container. Just add water and decorate with colourful beads and mini figurines. How adorable!
