HA Go—a great helper for children's health
Since the launch of the mobile app HA Go, the Hospital Authority has been upgrading its features. Promotions for the app are now in full swing in HA. In our hospital, most patients are under 18. We therefore strongly encourage parents to register an account for their children, which will make taking care of their health just one click away.
When a patient comes to the hospital for follow-up or admission, there are many tedious procedures to navigate. With HA Go, parents can simply set themselves as the "carer" of their children to manage many tasks easily on their phone, such as registering for a clinic appointment, checking real-time queuing status, getting a pharmacy ticket, joining a tele-consultation, and viewing operation progress. It significantly reduces the time spent rushing around and waiting in line. Another important function is instant payment for clinic, in-patient, drug and other medical fees. Bills can be seen at a glance, reminding parents to pay on time.
HA Go is an excellent assistant to keep track of children's health. Radiology reports, lab test results and medication records can be accessed anytime, anywhere. Besides, parents can input data like weight, blood pressure and blood sugar to compile a health diary to help with condition monitoring and communication with healthcare workers.
HKCH plays a part by distributing HA Go publicity materials and setting up a promotional booth. We have also appointed ward and clinic staff as ambassadors who are familiar with the app. HA Go is truly an indispensable aid in the treatment journey. We appeal to all parents to register for their children as soon as possible to enjoy the benefits.
