Introduction
The Pharmacy provides safe and efficient drug distribution service for inpatients and outpatients, aseptic dispensing service and extemporaneous compounding service.
Utilizing advanced technology, pharmacists and dispensers cooperate to provide timely and accurate dispensing service.
Pharmacists also provide appropriate medication education to ensure safe medication use by patients and caregivers.
We also provide clinical pharmacy service where clinical pharmacists work in wards as part of the multi-disciplinary team to participate in the patient care process.
Clinical pharmacists integrate their pharmaceutical and therapeutic knowledge to provide professional recommendations and optimize patients’ medication regimen.
They also provide counselling to patients and their guardians on all aspects of drug treatment. Moreover, clinical pharmacists participate in the training of new resident pharmacists on their clinical skills and knowledge, preparing them to provide clinical pharmacy service in the future.
