Respiratory Medicine serves children aged 18 or below with complex respiratory conditions that likely benefit from multidisciplinary input and additional diagnostic services from the Hong Kong Children’s Hospital in both out-patient and in-patient settings. We work closely together with regional respiratory units territory wide to provide share care on complex respiratory cases.

Examples of complex respiratory conditions requiring multidisciplinary input on diagnosis and management are, and not limited to, central hypoventilation syndrome, interstitial lung diseases, primary ciliary dyskinesia, cystic fibrosis, transplant related pulmonary complications.
