Introduction

Under the hub-and-spoke model, HKCH serves as the tertiary referral centre for paediatric uncommon disorders requiring multidisciplinary management, providing diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation services for patients in need from birth to 18 years of age territory-wide. Doctor’s referrals from public hospitals or private sectors are accepted. Referrals would be triaged to be seen by the respective specialist(s).

Scope of services

We serve children from birth to 18 years old with confirmed uncommon disorders or undiagnosed diseases which require multidisciplinary diagnostic workup and / or management in ambulatory, out-patient and / or in-patient settings. We work closely with other HA hospitals under the hub-and-spoke model to sustain a comprehensive, coordinated and coherent paediatric service network.
